Users
are prompted to choose if items to be entered in this batch are being sold on a consignment basis, for a client, or from their own inventory.
For
items being sold on consignment, users have the ability to keep track of any
listing fees that the client is being charged. Note, this is not the commission,
which is entered in the section below.
Enter
each item including its description in the "New Item" box. Enter the item's offering or opening price,
the auctionsite, your commission rate (for consignment sellers), and the category.
For user-owned items, the commssion is set to 0. The category will be used in
our Estates Listings Pages and for our Froogle upload service. Any information can
be changed after the item has been listed.
Clicking
"Add Item" adds the item to the database. The item then appears below,
and a blank "Add New Item" section appears for additional items to
be entered.
Items
listed appear in the lower section of the page. All items can be edited in this
section, or elsewhere on the site, when changes are required.
Once
an item has been entered on the order, it can be changed in the section below, using the "edit item" button.
Any
item can be deleted from the order, without affecting the other items on the
order.
As
items are entered, the cost of the service is shown immediately below. Estates-On-Line.com
charges a low listing fee, no sales commissions, and no monthly membership fees.
After
the final item is entered, click the "Save Order" button to save the
entire order to your database. A statement is generated by the system that lists
the items that have entered. Consignment sellers can send this statement to
their client, which includes an acknowledgement of the listing fee paid, or
if a listing fee payment is due..
Page-Specific
help is available on every page of the site, should you need it.
